Arrived on wednesday earlier than check in but staff greeted us with a warm welcome. Room was very nice with a good bed. Free wifi helps! Buffet Breakfast very good. Small complaint about shower in bathroom soaking the floor, silly and frustratingly annoying! Overall very good! More

Only a 15 minutes walk of the old centre of Leuven, this hotel is situated in the old beguinage. The silence, the beautiful green gardens and the old buildings create a romantic atmosphere. The rooms are more than correct, breakfast is great: a buffet with cheeses, meat, fruits, vegetables, even cava. Staying in Leuven, this is a nice place to... More

We booked a weekend in Leuven at the Begijnhof Hotel. It was my birthday and we wanted to celebrate in style. We had read a few good reviews and decided it was a good fit for us. The deal was on discount through “Weekendje.weg” We paid 105 euro per night for a double room with buffet breakfast included. The hotel... More

We stayed in this hotel via a 'hotelweek-deal' (EUR 55 for a double, incl. breakfast), so in that case this was value for money! When you enter Leuven (route via Antwerp, Mechelen, Brussels Zaventem) you arrive almost immediately in this hotel. At first you think the centre is far, but it is only a 10 minute walk to the historical... More

This is an excellent hotel to stay in the beautiful city of Leuven. The hotel have great garden around it and also boosts good rooms and excellent service. The restaurant and the breakfast is also good. Though one can not find too many restaurants nearby the hotel, but it will take hardly 15 minutes walking to reach the city center. More

Checked in at midnight and the room was cold. Very cold. Also had an odd smell which they obviously knew about and wouldnt fix as there was a floor standing electric air cleaner unit in the room. Odd. Had to turn the radiator on high, the shower on hot and the bathroom heater on high just warm kup the room.... More

This is a very good hotel to stay at if you are in Leuven for business. My room was spotless and quiet--unfortunately the decor is outdated. The simple and a modern bar/restaurant had good dinner choices and the morning buffett breakfast was wonderful. Good wi-fi access and helpful front desk staff made this a quality stay. Unfortunately, it is a... More

Leuven is a small city and most of the hotels arre close to the city centre. However, the city of Leuven is a student city and nighttime it could be a noise problem staying in the hotels in the middle of the city centre,¨ The Begijnhof hotel is located a bit outside the party centre, but you can walk to... Nice hotel, good location, lovely grounds etc. Rooms not overly impressive, but clean and comfortable. Enjoyed a simple but excellent meal in the restaurant. Parking is confusing as you drive through a large car park in order to get to the hotel- no room to stop and check in and ask where the car park is, the sign indicates that... More

The hotel is at approx. 2 km walking distance from the centre of Leuven. What a nice feeling when you take your breakfast on the terrace: you are next to an impeccable garden in medieval style and you have a view on the surrounding houses dated from the 16 century. The hotel offers interesting weekend formulas and the price/quality rate... More
