This is an excellent hotel to stay in, and we'd choose it again if we visit Bruges again! The hotel is very well situated and easy to find, not far from Bruges train station on foot, within the old town itself. Shops, restaurants, and many sights of Bruges are a short walk from the hotel. We received a very warm... More

This hotel is the epitome of charming, adorable, and affordable. The hotel owner, Hilda, is beyond nice and very helpful. The hotel is very cozy with bird cages in the windows with finches and very comfortable setting of tables, chairs, and couches. The bed room we stayed in was very clean, safe, and wonderful beds to sleep in. The downside... More

Only stayed one night. We arrived a few hours before check in but the owner was happy for us to leave our bags. Once we were in he was very helpful in showing us where we wanted to go and suggested a few more places to see. We walked our socks off going round Bruges that day and on return to... More

We stayed here for two nights on our first visit to Bruges. The owners could not have been more helpfull, they made us feel like we where guests in there home. The breakfast was served in what looked like a livingroom in a privat home and had a wounderful view of the small garden. Dweerstraat, where the hotel is located, is... More

I was first apprehensive because the hotel wasnt that expensive and the website isn't that clear. But when we walked towards the hotel we knew we would have a quiet night. The outside has a lot of caracter and the inside even more. Downstairs there is a sitting room, a receptiondesk and a breakfast room. It's decorated very tastefully and... More

My husband and I recently vacationed in Bruges for two nights before we went to Amsterdam and arrived without a reservation (risky I know, but we non-rev on flights and cannot easily plan ahead). After calling all of the B&B's reccomended in our travel guide, we called one of the reasonably priced hotels which was mentioned. We were pleasantly surprised... More

We've been staying at the Hotel Imperial for over 25 years, so obviously we like it. It's conviently located, just inside the city wakk north of the T'Zand. There is an underground parking garage just across the street. The hostess is a delight, she and the Imperial, just keep getting better every year. Multi-lingual and full of useful information. Small... More

We had moved from another Brugge hotel (Hotel Cordoeanier, unacceptable room, see my review). We found the Hotel Imperial to be a much better choice. Hotel Imperial room had a nice hardwood floor with rugs, not old grungy carpet. Linens were very nice, sheets were new and crisp. The breakfast was included and good. It was a quiet establishment.
