I had one night alone in Bruges after a weekend with friends in Brussels and I was really happy to be able to book a room here, at the end of the Ascension Day holiday weekend. It was simply the coziest, homiest hotel that I've ever stayed in. My room (number 28) was small but perfect - you really don't... More

Thank you so much for your comprehensive review! Hope future guests have a bit of a guidance now. Only one thing to add : we don't shut the TV's down at 11pm, we just ask to adjust the volume in case it was a bit loud. Thank you for booking direct on our website! More

Paul is one of the most dedicated hosts we have stayed with. He does try harder in everything he does. This is my wife and my eighth trip to Europe so we have seen the good and bad. I just don't understand some of the reviews sometimes. People are so spoiled. If you want the Ritz, then go stay in... More

Thank you for your kind review! Our houserules, clearly visible at reception, mention our 'quiet hours' from 11pm till 7am. It's a pitty that you didn't call me when the guests above your room were bouncing around in the middle of the night. I'm on site and for such matter you were more than welcome to call me. More

We found this delightful small hotel after a little research on the Internet. First impression was, how clean and well-run the establishment was. Paul, the proprietor, most welcoming and readily took our heavy suitcase up to room from car (there is a lift). Room smallish and compact, but again clean and well-presented. Beds so neat and tidy it was a... More

After spending 3 nights at the hotel, this is a superb family-owned 3-star hotel. We booked the family room, with 2 bedrooms for 3 adults and 1 child and we could not have been happier. The hotel is in a quiet section of Bruges, but everything is within a short 10-minute walk. The beds were comfortable, breakfast was healthy and... More

First things first, this is a very clean hotel and the staff was very nice and courteous... but that's about where the positive attributes end. As a huge fan of TripAdvisor, as well as boutique hotels and B&B's, this hotel was a major disappointment. It was more like a suped-up hostel than a hotel or B&B. The rooms were dire,... More

We are sorry not fully matching your expectations. We believe that our website, room discription, confirmation and price category are honest. We are glad that you liked our service and hospitality. Rooms are what they are, small but comfortable. 7 rooms have been fully renovated last winter with new wall paper and carpet. The other 3 will be renovated this... More

Stayed for three nights in April. Booked after reading Tripadvisor comments and wasn't disappointed. Good breakfast and great hosts. Would definately stay there again and recommend to friends. More

We had stayed at the Fevery before, and loved it so much we stayed again, this time accompanied by two family members. The highlight of our trip was to be a WWI battlefield tour. The morning of the tour, Nathan the owner and guide, called to cancel, leaving us stranded. At breakfast, Paul, owner of the Fevery, immediatly found us... More

We just stayed three nights and were impressed with the inn. The neighborhood is close to the main square; but in a quiet residential area. The breakfast was generous with different Belgium specialities offered in addition to the regular fare. We slept great in very comfortable beds with good pillows. I loved the elevator which is a plus with heavy... More

The hotel is comfortable and quiet, a short walk from the city centreattractions. It has implemented a number of energy efficient measures to reduce the ecoogical impact (so don't fly there and spoli it). The owner was very friendly and helpul - don't let the North European reserve put you off. More

We booked this hotel after reading reviews on Tripadvisor however it didn't live up to expectations. It's average at best. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room which after a day walking around the city was a disappointment. Apparently this is because the hotel is an Eco-hotel. Breakfast is average also. You're offered. Boiled egg but don ask for this... More

We are sorry that your stay didn't met your expectations. The 'superior room' is much larger than the other rooms and fits 3 persons. The 3rd bed wasn't made up but was a sofa. Our breakfast is at no extra charge. Drinks, bread (rolls, fresh bread and toast) and a boiled egg are served at your table while cereals, fresh... More
