DON'T STAY IN THIS HOTEL IF YOU WANT A TWIN ROOM!!! I have just returned from a short break to Bruges and stayed in this hotel. I went with my mum who is in her sixties, and chose this hotel as it was advertising twin rooms with single beds on the Eurostar website. We even paid a supplement to ensure... More

The hotel is centrally located, close to the Grote Markt and Burg. On our arrival there was no one at the reception, after ringing the bell the receptionist came from the hotel on the opposite side of the street. During our stay the reception was always empty and I had a feeling that anyone can enter the hotel. We got... More

we stayed here for 2 nights and loved the historic character of the building the steep staircase, long landings, curved banisters, wooden wallpanels all added to its charm our room was a good size looking over the garden, and we found it a good size, with plenty of hot water, and quiet. from the window we could see the back... If, for some reason, this is your only option in Bruge, still dont take it. Postpone you trip instead. I have never experienced anything like it. It is the first, and will hopefully be the only, time I have ever walked out of a place. Considering it was around 7pm in the evening on the busiest night of the year... More

Having read other reviews after booking I was a little worried. The room was therefore a pleasant surprise. We paid £64 per night f( a deal with eurostar) for a small double room and it was well worth the money. Our room was on the third floor and had brilliant views. It is in an ideal location for sightseeing. The... More

I've never felt compelled to write a review about a hotel before as I don't feel it's fair on the owners, however today is the exception. This Hotel was basic to say the least. The room was small, with no air conditioning, no tea or coffee making facilities the bedding wasn't clean and the shower was very bad. There was... More

I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a decent nights rest after sightseeing all day (or if you would like a decent shower). If you are not woken up early by the building work going on outside, then you will most certainly be kept awake by noise from adjacent rooms as the walls are paper thin!... More

On arrival there was no one at the check in desk, pressed bell, waited over 5minutes for some one to wander over the road from the sister hotel over the road!! We were showed to the room, which WAS advertised as SMALL, which is what it was. The TV was terrible signal, very fuzy, there was no telephone or mini... More

We paid a good price and the reservation said 'small room'. When we got there it was clear why this was stated in the booking, but nevertheless it was clean and modern, a good ensuite and a great central location for exploring this stunning city. A buffet breakfast was included in our booking and we were quite impressed at the... More

Great location, comfortable and clean hotel, generally a pleasant stay BUT A WARNING TO ALL - PLEASE BEWARE OF THE BREAKFAST. Signs note the times and place of breakfast, and there are even a few signs on the hall way walls noting a surcharge for in-room breakfasts, but you will NOT be informed of the breakfast charge of 15 euro...
