We travelled on the Hull-Zeebrugge ferry, driving first to Knokke-Heist and the Zwin - both recommended - and then in Bruges via Damme. When the receptionist said we could park just down the road using a blue disk €2.50, that was a huge relief. Our room was excellent size and overlooked canal. Good breakfast in hotel every morning, and for... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Rosenburg having arrived on Eurostar and changing at Brussels Zuid – very easy to do. We got a taxi from the station due to the cobbled streets which was reasonable but after that we just walked everywhere as Bruges is very compact. We paid extra for a room with a view of the canal... Firstly, I wrote this review some time ago. I signed into trip advisor today and found that the review had been alocated to another hotel name, which happens to be the same hotel. Strange?. I am posting again. I hope they have sorted out their issues and I hope you find this review helpfull. We stayed in room 110 on... More

Nice and quiet hotel located on the right bank of the canal about 7/8 blocks from the historic center of Bruges. I think something that sets it apart is its architecture similar to an old castle but inside is a modern hotel, although some sectors would need repairs. The rooms are more spacious than the average in Brudge, same for... More

We stayed in room 110 on the first floor for 3 nights. Supposed to be a 4 star executive suite. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The rooms were very large. That's about all the good points. Now for the bad points. I felt to complain whilst staying at the hotel, but felt that my complaints were so vast... More

I specifically chose this hotel over the others because it looks like a little castle form the outside, with its brick facade and the little bridge. Even though it is kind of far from the center (10-15min walk), the location is alright. However, the inside was a little disappointing. I had a first floor room, so I heard every word... More
