Very nice room with great view on the ocean, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast and great value for the money - these things are the reason for best grades! The only "downer" is the lack of Wi-Fi in the room. But anyway, our stay was very pleasant and we would come back to the Mareta anytime when visiting Sagres!... More

Great B and B. Simply, but tastefully decorated in blues and turquoises. Lovely large room overlooking the sea. UK channels on the TV and free wi-fi to keep in touch with home. Breakfast was served in the cafe downstairs with a great range of coffees, cakes and pastries. A 10% discount card was provided for the cafe and adjoining Italian... More

It was our second stay at Mareta Beach, and it was even better than our first stay. Modern accommodation, close to the beach and the free Wi-Fi is a plus. The breakfast is great with a lot of options. The only negative points would be the somewhat poor soundproofing (I am starting to think that this is the new "normal"),... More

Dear guest Thank you for your review. We would like to inform you that our maintenance team is improving the soundproofing in all our rooms. As our floor is all in wood, this make a such difference as you cannot imagine! We also improve new black-outs to avoid the inconvenience of light when the sun is rising. Hope you come... More

I stayed at the Mareta Beach Boutique B&B for 5 nights. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially the Brazilian lady who gave me lots of advice on which beaches to explore. The room (I had one that was not facing the sea but it did have a balcony) was spacious, very clean and nicely decorated. As it was... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. It is modern and the rooms are large and airy. I liked the Italian restaurant that is downstairs. The only thing that we had trouble with is the wifi. We could only get it downstairs in the lobby, and each time we had to get a new code. Sagres is a... More

Dear guest Thank you for your review. We already increase our Wifi connection to avoid this inconvenience. Unfortunately Sagres is a small fishing village and it is quite complicate to sort out some easy problems like this... but, thank you again for your note. Looking forward to see you soon. My husband stayed here last year on a boys' surf trip and every one of them recommended it when they got back. I booked it for a four night stay for my husband and I and we couldn't have been happier. Our room was an excellent size with a large bathroom and a big balcony (especially for a B&B) with... More

Clean hotel with normal sized rooms(for 3 stars). Very good location (for Sagres) short walk to the only 4 bars, restaurants and Mareta beach. Very helpful staff, average breakfast. More

We booked our stay in the Mareta Beach B&B based on the website which shows amazing rooms with baconies and incredible sea views, and we requested one of these rooms. BEWARE! These rooms are actually in the sister hotel - the Mareta View which is around the corner - as is the hot tub and everything else they have photos... More

I wanted to go here because it's where Prince Henry the Navigator left to explore the world. This is when they thought the world was flat and they would fall off. I can see why. The cliffs are breathtaking. My husband and I did a trip to Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, and Greece, and this was our second most favorite... More
