We stayed in Lisbon for 4 nights, but only 2 of them in the Living Lounge Hostel. What a shame... that we couldn't have stayed here longer! After spending 2 nights in another hostel, in crappy bunk beds, this hostel was a real delight. It's incredibly clean, which isn't that surprising since there are cleaning ladies running around constantly .... More

This has to be the best hostel I have stayed in! Immaculate!! You are greeted right as you enter by a smiling staff. Room keys are electronic so easy to store in wallet. Upon checking in, a staff member will actual bring you to your room and give you a tour of the hostel. We stayed in a private room... More

We just returned from a few days away in Lisbon at the Living Lounge. We booked a room for two and the room we were given was really artistically decorated, clean and comfy. The communal areas of this hostel are great - love the design and the retro furnishing, art and travel books lying around etc. All the staff are... More

All the rooms are different themed and ours was a crimescene theme, we had much entertainment taking photos of! I'm not really into hostels, however my cousin booked this (on recommendation from a friend) but didn't realise that even though we had a private room, we still shared the bathrooms. Well the bathrooms were cleaner than the 8 hotels we... More

I rarely stop in hostels but this one is amazing. It is more like a Boutique Hotel with all of the rooms having a theme. Bathroom facilities are shared but plentiful and, like the rest of the hostel, are meticulously clean. All of the staff speak excellent Engilsh and I was surprised to find that breakfast was included which makes... More

No jokes. This hostel was amazing. Located in an easily accessible location. Great vibe and staff. Nightly Portuguese themed dinners made by the in house chef. Daily walking tours for free (none of this "please give me some tips for this tour" stuff. Legitimately an amazing venue. Feels like you are staying at a friends loft. Loved this place! More

We took a 12 day whirl-wind tour of Portugal and Spain, never staying in the same city more than two nights, and never staying in the same hostel twice because we wanted to experience everything we could in the small timeframe that we had allowed for ourselves. I began the trip wanting to stay in hotels instead of hostels, but... More

Let me start by saying that on a month tour of Europe this was my first stop of the trip. When I first arrived I was very surprised because I assumed hostels would be very dirty and a free for all party. Instead I was surprised to find this clean and greatly decorated location. I’ll start with the negative: the... More

The rooms are sooo cute - each one of them have a different theme and they are very modern in decoration. I got a single (very affordable compared to rest of Europe,) and the bed is ridiculously comfortable. I definitely enjoyed the privacy after bunking in hostels around Europe for a while. This place is a dream for solo travelers.... More

I've been on a round-the-world trip to over 20 countries and this has been the best of them all. The decor and facilities are great, the chef-prepared meals are fantastic and give you a great chance to easily meet plenty of other travellers and the location is close to the Bairro Alto region that is full of bars and places...
