I can't understand why there have been some negative reviews. I found the reception staff and porter to be welcoming and the 2 issues I had in the room (remote control not working and a dud bulb in my bedside lamp) were resolved in minutes. The room itself was spotless and had recently been painted and the bathroom was modern.... More

This is the hotel where TAP Portuguese Airlines puts you up when they arrive late and need to pay you an overnight voucher., I rate it as a good and affordable bed and breakfast and use it when I don't wish to arrive at Faro,Algarve just before midnight with going through the car rental formalities plus a 40 min. drive... We stayed for two nights in this narrow and seemingly old hotel. In terms of price it was doing ok and it wasn't reall. It was clean but not shiny and reception was very busy. Parking is like hell in this place. You can walk or take the subway to reach downtown. Breakfast is on 10th floor, beware of vertigo.... More

Dear Sir, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay in our property and help us get better. We apologise for the reception being busy at that time, but it is something unpredictable, that we cannot control. Regarding the parking, we must note we have parking places in the street in front of the hotel and another more... More

Miss this one like the plague! it is dated, dirty and has Best Western cards in the rooms but has not been a BW for 4 years. 3 of us stayed on a business trip and each of us were extremely disappointed, especially as we were charged 95 euro per room. More

Dear Sir, Thank you very much for staying at Hotel Eduardo VII and for taking the time to evaluate us. this hotel cam highly recommended for a 3 star but, we know why it is only a 3 star at 65 euro per night. the room may have been renovated in 1970 at best. The location is a good 20-30 min walk from Biaxa or Barro Alto. Close to the big mall but that is all the good I can... More

This was easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed in (22-29 September 2011). It's in desperate need of redecoration and upgrading. Our bedroom (501)was tiny with marked walls and an uneven block floor. Public areas were dull and dingy with wrinkled carpet and poor lighting. There was a large hole in the wall of the lift shaft which did... More

Rooms were clean with good soundproof windows (busy road outside). The people managing the hotel desk could have been more helpful with questions (instead they seemed bothered and annoyed... this was a minus). The location of the hotel is great with easy access to everything and a stone throw away form the bus station where the airport bus stops. The... More

I went there because it wa sa gift (one of those gift certificates where you choose among different hotels) OMG it was awful. Only good thing about this place is the location, bus nos 44, 745, 83 bring you staright from the airport to within 100 yards of the hotel.
