The hotel wasn't capable of canceling one internet booking for one month in advance. The cancelation was requested just one working day after the booking. Lauzy service for a 5 stars hotel. "If they hook you, they will not let you go!"

All is said in the title, close to a subway station which makes it. Even though it is not eaxctly in the touristic area. Taxis are fairly cheap and numerous in Lisbon, so it is also a good optn to move about.
2 comments: not enough electric plugs to recharge camera, phone, computer, etc..., wi-fi too expensive.

We enjoyed five nights in Lisbon from May 5-10. Stayed in Room 1802 which had a lovely view of the city and provided complete comfort in a well maintained, modern environment.
The hotel is frequented by convention groups, but this did not prove to be objectionable.
Service throughout the hotel including the maid, concierge (concierge not available at all times)...

Midtown location with superb view over the city from the higher floors. Finest service, wonderfull silenced rooms, excellent beds. Always taxis in front and metro acces nearby. Look for good fares.

I love Lisbon - it reminds me in so many ways of San Francisco (they even have a Golden Gate Bridge). I think the city is a well kept secret as I never been aware of too many tourists. Had a deluxe room which was large by European standards - nice surprise. Huge wardrobe with curtains as a door and huge washroom. The shower was not user friendly. Very hi tech knobs here and there including a very sophisticated looking shower. Pity there wasnt any instructions as it was not obvious at all how you could on the shower...

I stayed at the Sheraton Lisboa two night in March and can only say good things about this hotel. Very nice property with modern rooms. A great view from the bar/restaurant at the top of the building over Lisbon. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would return any time!
