There weren't any things that jumped out as overly pleasant or unpleasant, but if I stay in Lisbon again I will probably look at other hotel options. I stayed here for 6 nights March/April 2012. Lovely hotel, excellent staff. Room was big as was the bathroom. Internet was 20 euros for the week which I thought was reasonable although apparently its the same if you only stay for one night. Not much in the way of shopping. Close to the Metro and within walking distance of the Entrecampus train station. We took the train from the Algarve and was able to walk 10 mins to the hotel with our luggage. Avoid the high cost of downtown hotels. The hotel is very modern and very comfortable and also has a great breakfast in the am. More

The Holiday Inn Continental was clean, comfortable, and close to the metro and busses. It took about 15 minutes to get downtown. I travelled for fun so if you're looking to be close to the action, you may want to stay slightly closer to the centre, but regardless, the value for money is good and the distance is not bad... More
