Don't expect luxury when you go to Mondulkiri! From available accomodation, Phanyro is probably the best deal that you can get. Phanyro is cheap 8 usd for a single and 12 for a double, it is clean and has decent beds. Found a huge spider in my room but I guess that cöuld happen anywhere in Mondulkiri. There is hot water and even a tv in the rooms. There is no restaurant, they just provide a free bottle of drinking water.... More

The bungalows are nice enough, ensuite with hot water for $8 isn't too bad! Hot water took a whole to kick in..but did eventually come on. I ended up staing there on the advice of the owner of the Gecko bar nearby and never regretted it. All the bungalows offer the right amenities (hot shower not the least one) and they are cleaned everyday. The staff have very little English but enough to get by.
