Hotel Dioskouros is located on one hand on very quiet street but also very close to Acropolis, Plaka and Monastiraki so you can go for a walk in the evening and you don't have to worry how to get back to your hotel. That's big advantage. But it's just a hostel so you shouldn't expect much: it is clean, wireless...

The hotel is small but very intimate, clean and well located in Plaka. Though the hotel is on a narrow but peaceful lane, it is not a problem to locate it from Syntagma Square. Staff are really good and friendly. Pakistani night staff is really helpful and guided us at his best. Breakfast was enough and good.

The location of this hotel is great, its a stone's throw away from all shops, taxis, markets, etc so that is very convenient. We stayed here for a night and then had 4 days planned of visiting another island before we came back again to stay for a night. We kept half our luggage in their lockers. Our belongings were...

I stayed here for one night in June 2011, and found the hotel quite poor. It is located down a side street and quite hard to find if you dont know where it is, even several locals were unable to give me directions. The rooms were very basic, and untidy. I tried paying with a credit card which they were...

The rooms were allright, quite clean except for the wool blanket, it was a bit scetchy. Slept allright, bring earplugs cause it is quite loud, either from the street or if it's people...

Everything is terrible about this place. I stayed in a room that probably was a storage room originally. There are only two windows and they open up into the cafeteria. There were no other people in my room and there are no lockers. I felt very unsecured. Furthermore, it's actually quite a walk to the acropolis. It's not as close...

Dark rooms, old equipment, hostel type property.
Very good location though and the staff willing to assist.
