Hard to imagine you could do much better in Olympia than this very well located and well managed hotel, particularly for the price. It's a family business and staff members are friendly and helpful. Rooms are modern and clean; coffee and tea making facilties are a bonus. Thoroughly recommended. More

The Hotel Pelops was the best hotel in which we stayed while on our 3 week trip to Greece.. It is situated about a half block off the main street in Olympia, Greece. This gives you easy access on foot to all that Olympia has to offer; a nice shopping area, good restaurants and the ancient ruins and museums. The facilities... More

The Hotel Pelops offers everything a traveler needs or wants! The Spiliopoulos family provides a very homey atmosphere and helpful advice in addition to lovely clean rooms with coffee and tea, a scrumptious breakfast with homemade jams, a bar and dinner service, air conditioning, and an elevator. We stay 3-7 days when we visit Olympia and it is our favorite... More

We found this hotel a bit classier then one would expect for the price. Furniture is nice quality, bathroom is modern and the decor of the hotel is beautiful, so is the restaurant. It is an easy 5-10 minute walk to the Ancient Olympia site and on the edge of the pedestrian city area. It is around the corner from... More

Small and lovely family-run hotel. The room was spacious and clean with a balcony overlooking the piazza and church. Polite and friendly staff. They were very attentive and helpful. Good location, even when Ancient Olympia is not quite big. It is just 10 minutes to the archeological sites. Food was pretty good. Mediterranean and greek style food; the taverna is... More

Very friendly owners and staff. The staff are very gracious and helpful. Accommodations are comfortable with spacious, clean rooms. Lovely breakfast. Lounge area for gathering in the evenings is a big plus. We've stayed here before and would definitely return. Great place to rest and socialize. More

I was surprised to know this hotel was a 2*. It deserves solid 3* and Tripadvisor users give it 4,5 points which is more than fair. It is cosy and well maintained. The room was spacious and clean, two balcony doors (I had a corner room no.9) let plenty of air into the room. If you prefer artificial air con... More

In Olympia one does not have a lot of choices. This is a good one. Good sized rooms, balcony overlooking the church and adequqte food in its restaurant. Very friendly and helpful family owners. More

My mother and I stayed three nights to see the torch lighting ceremony and our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were super nice and attentive, particularly father of this family-run business. Madame cooks for their new taverna whose home-made food we thoroughly enjoyed. Her moussaka was fresh and low fat compared to other moussaka we had had. In... More

This is, without a doubt, the best hotel in Olympia. It was thoroughly refurbished before the recent Olympics and is comfortable and very well maintained. It is family run and the people involved are delightful: all of the speak English and have a commitment to making your experience the best they can. The rooms are excellent and the bathrooms spacious.... More
