Prince Stafilos Hotel is the jewel of Skopelos. Very clean, amazing view of green and blue from its balconies, very well maintained gardens. The common areas are such a beauty, decorated with exquisite antique furniture of unique craftsmanship, antique hanging light fixtures artistically crafted and painted and various objects of well polished bronze as well as handmade hand crafts well... This is a lovely, typically Greek hotel. Very clean, lovely views. All staff very polite and helpful. However - we went at the end of the season, (mid September) and most of the advertised amenities were unavailable. On arrival the only drink we could have was water. On our second night we didn't want to go out in the rain,... More

Positives - Lovely clean rooms, clean towels and sheets every day Negatives - No snacks and difficult to get drinks, cold breakfasts, lazy staff who are not very welcoming, no bar staff, hardly any lights at night, pool not cleaned. Large spiders at the bottom of the pool. Gym equipment is either broken or no batteries in them. Not allowed... More

Really a bad experience! The floor in the room and the bath was dirty, with dead insects lying around. After we complained and were transferred to another room we realized that the toilet and the sink were jammed. They called a plumber who fixed it. The toilet seat was loose. The furnishings were old as well as the mattresses. Many... More

The staff at this hotel is probably thee most hospitable people that we have ever come across during a stay abroad. We are well travelled visiting many places around the world, but this will stay will always be treasured for the lovely time spent at this hotel. It is clean with lovely views across the bay, with gardens in the... More

My partner and I loved this hotel, if you want Greek, this is it. We not only thought the hotel, views, and setting was beautiful, but the staff, Luba, Maria and Anna, we also fell in love with, they could not do enough for you, we were sad to leave them. We stayed a week before we set off for... More

We hve been going to Skopelos for over 10 years and have tried most of the hotels, although a nice hotel it's let down by small rooms, poor breakfast area and grumpy staff but my biggest complaint is with Thomson / Simply holidays who sell you a dream but you end up with a travel nightmare from hight street to... Great hotel fantastic location, beautiful gardens but let down by a grumpy old git who managed the reception area. Woe betide you if you wanted to sit down on one of the antique sofas in the reception area. Why put them there if not for sitting on? Use the pool after a rainy day - " no you might catch... More

Straight to the point; this is the worst hotel i have ever had the misfortune of staying in. It is worthy of 2stars on a good day. 1 pillow, no extra blanket, poor smelly drainage to rooms, ram-shackled dangerous gym area and cheap equipment, extremely poor cleaning standards (bath, mirrors, basin only cleaned on request), no mini bar, no air...
