Very nice hotel. Our standard room was small but had a beautiful view from 17th floor. Modern room and ok beds. Bathroom good, though don't like shower in a bathtub. Very nice breakfast. Located next to Tivoli and train station. Short walk to the shopping area. Overall - a good choice in Copenhagen. More

Well located, spacious rooms, great amenities----can be claimed by many properties. The Royal has all that and more. Every single staff member we encountered was proactively helpful, engaging, and sincerely desirous of delivering a 5 diamond experience. They upgraded us to a spacious corner room. Meals were superb. The hotel is perfectly located across the Tivoli, the Central Train Station, and really close to the Rådhusplassen ( City Hall Square). It's not exceptional in any way. It's not extra luxury, or extremely well designed. The restaurant is average and rather un-even in quality. Still, I always feel like coming home when I enter into this place. I guess it's a question of charm and self confidence built into the walls. I will keep coming back to you, promise. More
