We pre booked and pre paid for 2 superior single rooms through Expedia however when we turned up our rooms had been given away so we had to stay at another hotel for the first night. When we went back to the hotel in the second night we weren't even offered an apology. Very disappointed. Be aware if you actually... More

Dear guest, Thank you for you review. I am very sorry about the trouble you had with your booking. It appears your booking coincided with the implementation of our new computer software controlling our sales through online travel agencies such as Expedia. Due to the trouble we had with the implementation, we recieved far too many bookings and unfortunately, these... More

Good points: 1) With 736 DKR per person per night it is apparently very cheap. 2) You can see the lights of the Tivoli from the right rooms (we were in 502). 3) Very central. Booked six weeks early and asked for a quiet room with a view of the water. On arrival we were outright laughed at: "There are... More

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. I am very sorry you had a bad experience staying at Hotel Danmark. Due to the extremely central location in Copenhagen right in the middle of the most pulsating part of the city, it is impossible to avoid city noice, ambulance sirenes etc. However, this does not excuse the misinformation about the hotel... I travel a lot to Copenhagen and have stayed in a variety of hotels in town. The Danmark is one of a group of three carbon neutral hotels all owned by the same family and this is my favourite. The rooms are fine and comfortable, breakfast is great with a mix of european and "English" syle. There is a decent... More

Dear Andy, Thank you very much for your positive review! I am delighted to read that you enjoyed your stay at Hotel Danmark as well as your stays at the other hotels in the Brøchner Hotel group. Despite the hotels being different in for instance decor; cosyness, homeliness and comfort are some of the common characteristics - together with being... More

This is a cosy, yet modern hotel-stiuated right in the heart of Copenhagen. It is convenient for the station, museums and the Town Hall Square. I was very impressed with the hotel's carbon neutral policy. The heating is excellent, as is the 'Wet Room' style shower. A very plentiful, varied, buffet breakfast is provided. Reception is helpful and efficient and... More

If there was one location which I believed to be central to all you may want to see in Copenhagen, I would have to choose the very corner that Hotel Danmark rests upon. Very easy to get to from the airport, just take the train to central station, it was about 36 DKK in price per person. From here you... More

We spent 4 woderful days during the winter holidays in hotel Danmark. Location is escellent: only a couple of steps from the heart fo Copenhagen. The room was big enough for the two of us, and there were no problems with the central heating (that is espetially important during the winter). The Internet speed and signal level were very good,... Stayed here for a 3 night break in Copenhagen. Can't fault the location. Really close to the Tivoli Gardens, the central station and the Town Hall. Also very very close to the main shopping street. All of Copenhagen's main attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel was clean, comfortable and offered a nice buffet breakfast. The hotel... More

Great central hotel, near the station, shops and museums. Very friendly staff, who were very helpful and knowledgeable. The building is a little older, but rooms and all other areas were clean and fresh. Stayed at the front of the hotel overlooking the street, but had no trouble sleeping. More
