Arrived later in the evening and found our room to be very nice and clean with a great view on the Nyhavn. The staff was helpful and courteous, helping us get the most out of our too short stopover in Copenhagen. The breakfast was more than adequate with a good selection and the rate was quite agreeable for the location.... More

We were 2 couples who stayed at Bethel 3 night in May 12. We had got recommendations from friends. The location is very good. All the staff were very helpful and kind, and the breakfast was of very good quality and tasteful. The building is old and needs an update. We missed a lounge or a salon to relax in.... More

I found this hotel from Tripadvisor and for me the best one to stay at CHG. Specially the smiling faced of all workers make it worth to stay again and again... Thanks to them and tripadvisor. More

This is a clean and comfortable hotel on the New Harbour in Copenhagen. We spent two nights here and found it quite adequate for our purposes. Right on the canal, it gave beautiful views and easy access to the canal cruises. Within easy walks of the shopping malls, restaurant strips, the Palace and Little Mermaid sculpture. The breakfast was healthy... More

We loved this hotel and had a spacious family room on the top floor which was perfect for myself, husband and daughter. The hotel is in a perfect location beside the pretty harbour and very central for exploring (expensive) Copenhagen. The free tea and coffee is a real bonus and the staff were pleasant and helpful. We would recommend this... More

My wife and I and our two children spent a few days in Copenhagen in November 2009. We stayed two nights at this hotel. The hotel location is right in the middle of the most commonly photographed and scenic tourist area in Copenhagen. The area is simply delightful. It is within walking distance of the Royal Danish Theatre, a metro... More

My friend and I stayed for 3 nights at the end of October. The Bethel's location is great and very easy to find.....just a few minutes walk from the Metro station which takes you to the airport in about 15 - We walked everywhere - the National Museum is well worth a visit and I would recommend the Canal Boat... If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a very expensive city then this is the answer. The rooms are basic but do have everything you would need for a city break. As it was my partner’s birthday I requested a room with a view and on arrival was given a nice room at the front of the... More

This hotel reminds me of a Youthhostel: the rooms are basic, though there is a television and free internet access. There is poor insulation - you hear sounds from the corridors, and from the backyard, where they pick up trash early in the morning. Breakfast is also basic: cereals, coffee, some cheese and cold cuts. The staff is friendly and... More

I too agree with some of the previous reviews. This is a great spot to base yourself in Copenhagen and the area (although previously the red light district as I learned) is just gorgeous. It is an easy walk from the Metro station and the tour bus and cruise boat stops are just down the street. The room was cozy... More
