Stayed at this hotel between 217-22nd March 2013. Ideally situated. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was brilliant - eggs, cheeses, meats, bread, cereals, yoghurt. There is also free tea, coffee and cake all day - brilliant! Nothing to complaain about really. If I had to pick something to moean about, it was that there is limited storage/hanging for clothes. Having said that, I'm sure... More

The Hotel Emma is a nice little hotel in the pleasant area of downtown Ostersund. Arriving at night, after the front desk was closed, was a little awkward... though it worked out OK. I found the front door and buzzed to try to get in. This apparently called the owners of the hotel, who (after getting my name) told me... More

Spent three days and two nights in my former hometown Östersund. I chose this hotel since I have an acquaintance named "Emma". ;-) Polite staff, good breakfast, extremely comfy bed with an extra pillow in the wardrobe and no disturbing noise anywhere at night. There's also a possibility to have coffee/chocolate/tea and cookies in the afternoon at no cost (at... More

I spent two nights here as a break on a trip on the Inlandsbanen, enjoying both Ostersund and Emma's. In reality, a guesthouse sprawled on several floors of an old apartment building smack in the center of the town on the main pedestrian street. The reception was friendly. Got a large room furnished in semi-antiques with a certain Swedish character... More

This small and easily accessible inn fit our limited travel budget with a nice hardwood floor bedroom, comfortable beds and simple bathroom. It is in the heart of the walking street of this cute little town next to a lake and made for easy access to restaurants, nature walk by the lake and internet access. Free protected parking for our... More

We read a bad review here, so we weren't sure about how was this hotel, but the price was convenient and we decided to spend 2 nights. I don't regret at all, the room was big and very comfortable, the staff really friendly (all the different persons we saw), and the location very central. We could park nearby (outside the... More

We choose the hotel as our eldest daughter is called Emma even though we read two reviews that were not so good. We were not disappointed with our choice. The room was large and bright, the beds very comfortable. The receptionist was lovely, breakfast was very good and the location of the hotel could not have been more central and... More

We stayed at Emma for two nights and had a double room on the third floor. The elevator was slow but the room was quite ok. The owner gave excellent service, spoke several languages with her guests and was the perfect example of a good host. Value for money: Yes difinitely. Breakfast was nice with a friendly atmosphere from the... More

We stayed for a Friday and Saturday night after seeing what looked like a really great website. At 850SEK it is cheap, the rooms are big but there is no ventilation, beyond opening your windows to the roudy weekend street noise below. The bathroom was very outdated (and a big pet hate here has a shower curtain). There was a... More

The room were sad, the bathroom didn't even have tiles and we had to stand in a corner to shower since the showerhead were not working as it should. But the worst was the attitude of the staff. The owner and another receptionist were rude and not familiar with the term Customer Service. I will never go back to this... More
