3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 June 2013 NEW

My wife and friends stayed in the downstairs suite. Previous reviews are accurate about size, etc. We visited in June and all had trouble sleeping due to light coming in the windows; the blinds are not effective. I found the pillows to be too small and thin. Helen is very nice, but we'd probably not stay here again.

Helens B&B is located in a quiet and proper area. Bus and underground are reachable in a walking distance. Our double with shared shower and toilett was clean but both rooms were very small. After using the shower the floor, the toilet, everything was wet and has to be prepared (cleaned) for the next user. Breakfast can be choosen for... More

Very nice, clean stay in Stockholm with good connections to all atractions and Globen is very close. I was there 5 night during the icehockey world championship and everything was ok. Otherwise, Stockholm is wonderful city and if you have luck to stay at Helens Bed and Breakfast, really have breakfast in the garden, for good morning hear birds and then... More

The efficiency apartment at Helen's Bed and Breakfast was perfect for our needs. We wanted moderate priced housing where we could prepare some meals and park our car while in Stockholm. My wife and I like to eat out only once a day when traveling, both to save on money and for reasons of moderation. Driving is inconvenient for getting... More

I just stayed 2 but very pleasent nights, it's hands'on, friendly, clean en quiet. The shower needs some more space but is sufficient. Helen is firendly and helpfull, if you don't want a big hotel and some personal attention you can stay here.

I stayed in Stockholm just 4 days but I enjoyed every minute of that time. I stayed in Helen's B&B, a peaceful place to relax, quiet during the night and so "swedish". The room was very clean and comfortable, the bathroom was small but clean, just 1 metre from the door of my bedroom. The breakfast was a self-service one... More

I stayed with a friend of mine for four weeks at Helens Bed & Breakfast. Helen is a very warm, friendly and hospitable person. Our room was large enough and always clean and the breakfast was delicious. The B&B is located in a nice and peaceful neighbourhood and the way to the city lasts only 30 minutes by metro. I... More

Dear Niklas, thank you for your comments. It was a pleasure meeting the two of you. I am so impressed of both of you . To be away from family and also to live in the same room with your friend for such a long time, can really be a big challenge for many people, but the two of you... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
My house is a typical Swedish family home, situated in a wooded suburban area close to the centre of town. It is quiet and relaxing. The house is built on solid granite rock, and the garden is wild and beautiful, with deer and rabbits coming from the local forests to eat my flowers! You can rent a bike and be in the city centre in 15 min. It´s the very best way to see Stockholm which is made for cyclists and is not at all dangerous.Cycling leaves you free to explore the city at your leisure, but if you don´t feel like being so energetic, you can use the local transport system. It takes 15 - 20 min to go from my door to the centre of town by bus and subway. You are welcome to stay in my home and encounter the real Sweden. I look forward to receiving you as my guests.
