Service is always very nice at this hotel. They also offer a very pleasant buffet breakfast and tea and coffee for free during all day! Location is also very good since it only takes 5-10 minutes walking from Gothenburg Central Station. I recommend this hotel to everyone!

Spent 3 days at Hotel Arena. It is very close to the Exhibition Centre (10 min. walk) and the Central Station (5 min walk). The hotel was very clean, it reminded me for a dormitory rather then for a hotel room, and the breakfast are was more like a school canteen, but I credited that for Swedish simplicity and practicality.... Dirty windows and worn bathroom. Good bed. Good, quite small by scandinavian standards, room. Great flatscreen TV. Great, serviceminded, flexible and friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet, but also a bit small. Location a quiet side street about a km from city centre. Close to Ullevi-arena.

The hotel has exactly what I need for a simple stay in Gothenburg: A comfortable bed and bathroom, privacy, a good breakfast. And it is in a quiet neigborhood, a few minutes walk from the train/bus station. I am sure I will stay there again.

I was very dissapointed when I saw the bathroom, shower without a basin is not acceptable for me. I understand that this is a rather cheap hotel but the difference between rooms is huge.
