Simple really - this is the first place I call when looking to stay in Helsinki. Be warned, they get booked up very quickly.

Stayed here for two nights on business in November 2011, made to feel very welcome, room very nice and modern, no IPod dock though! Comfortable bed with all facilities, large bathroom with walk in shower. Pleasant stay and would recommend. Location very good within easy walking distance of the old town and harbour. No parking at hotel but parking meters...

What I love about this hotel:
- Location. Right in the city centre. Two min walk to/from harbour.
- Rooms. Stunning, clean, comfy and big. Heated floors in bathrooms - the best on the cold day.
- Service. Thank you for making our stay so pleasent to all the staff in Fabian Hotel.
What I don't like:
- Not sure......

I had the PLEASURE to stay at the Fabian in Helsinki last week. I was there for 4 nights, and my stay was very pleasurable. The room I stayed in was affordable, very modern, squeaky clean, and of course, comfy.
I travel almost every week on work, and I rate hotels by, 1- shower ( very nice), 2- bed (...

Having traveled to and lived in Helsinki (married to a Finn) many times, this is my new favourite hotel. The location is excellent. The room was great, comfortable bed, simply decorated, with all that you need. Excellent breakfast. All in all, a great choice with good service/

This modern, romantic boutique hotel is just a short walking distance away from the city centre square, the Esplanade, the docks where boats to the islands depart from, Kauppatori, as well as the big cozy park of Kaivopuisto.
We just loved it! Rooms were big and clean, interior fashionable and the breakfast was what we'd expect from a boutique hotel...
