This hotel does everything quite well. Mostly on average though but the premises raises my points to four stars and I kindly recommend this hotel. Breakfast is average and so is the cleanliness of the hotel. Both could be better but are adequate. So I would give it so far only average three stars. Plus points for the personnel which... More

The hotel is situated in a beautiful old building. The room was quite small, but I was there only for one night so that did not matter. Very comfortable bed. Great price and the breakfast buffet was really good. More

the only good thing is central location. Single room to small, especially bathroom. Impossible to regulate heating. most important, try to avoid keeping your lugage or coat at their closet. My colleague had done it, and it cmae out later, that Hotel had lost the key from that closet and he left Helsinki, in snow and windy weather without his... More

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that your stay was not succesful. Our hotel provides different kinds and sized rooms. The building of our hotel is one of those protected premises in Helsinki and has over 175 history. Due to this fact some functions of the hotel cannot be changed to the latest technology that easy,... More

The thing that's most noticable is the look of the hotel. It's a beautiful old style hotel located very close to the railway station. Really classy rooms with high ceilings and classic and comfortable chairs and beds. Great breakfast buffee. Good price. Nothing to complain about really. More

We visited Hotel Seurahuone this month for one night with my wife and we'd booked the hotel mainly because of its very central location (opposite to the central railway station). The building is very beautiful and the room was spacious. However, it was clear that the hotel has had its best times in the past and almost everywhere you could... More

Surprising architecture from 19th century with a great restaurant hall located at the city center just like a museum specially the signs for LIFT or FLOORS which are noted the memories of Second World War. I was there with some of my colleagues at the middle of November 2011 for 8 nights and I can describe there as a romantic... More

Nice rooms. Staff was helpful. Te decor was great. Breakfast buffet had a wide array to choose from. Two clubs located on either side of the hotel for late night things to do. Did end up missing a ring after room service and when checking out was charged for a call but they could not tell me the number called... More

If you want to have a nice atmosphere in a nice hotell in the middle of Helsinki, Finland, visit Hotell Seurahuone. We booked a club room and we really liked it. Althought it was midlle of the traffic etc. the rooms were quiet and beds were excellent for sleeping. It was a short walk to everywhere. Hotell Seurahuone is quite... More

We stayed here for 3 nights on a family vacation (2 adults and 2 teenagers) in April 2011. The hotel is in a historic building which is well located in the centre of Helsinki opposite the train station. The interior of the hotel has been beautifully restored. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. Everything runs smoothly. Any request (for... More
