Hotel administrator, a really nice and helpful man, saved us and our pets from spending the night in the car (in the October). Room was very quiet, clean and with a nice view outside the window. Location was exelent, just below the Tallin-Helsinki ferry port. We will return there for sure.

This hotel is a gem. For all of its charms, Helsinki does not abound in bargains, and Hotel Skatta is remarkably good value for money. This was a really pleasant stay. The views across the docks were outstanding of an evening.The staff were really friendly and quite dishy!Near to town, and the markets this is a really nice no frills hotel, which I do recommend.
