THE SUMMARY (Short Version): It seems to be almost standard practice to give a poor room and if/when you complain/request a change, you are given a better room (poor first impression). When we arrived we found that the on site store was closed and unlikely to open during our stay. Not a good start as the enarest store was a long walk away. We went to stay over the Xmas period. The weather was cold in the evening and we had trouble with our heating. However, the hotel was happy to change our room.
