I was delighted to find a place with a harbor view for my 1 night in transit in Keflavik. I arrived in late afternoon and successfully executed my plan to have a walk on the cliff above the hotel -- windy but beautiful -- and a nice seafood dinner, then take the bus to the Blue Lagoon in the morning... Outstanding! Beautiful, quite, comfy hotel with personal service. Stayed only for 1 night but next time I will for sure stay longer. The staff is extra friendly and the rooms are stylish with good beds. Perfect location, near to Keflavik airport.

We stayed here on our last night as we had an early flight home. We were reallocated to this hotel as our booked hotel couldn't accommodate us, however with the location and facilities offered at the Hotel Berg we were happy to transfer. The small and intimate nature of this hotel makes it feel like a home from home, with... More

The only regret about staying at this hotel was that we only had one night! I opted to pay extra for a suite and it was well worth it and still great value for money. The owners are friendly and helpful, and really go the extra mile to accommodate their guests' requirements. Their recommendation of eating at the Duus (just... More

We stayed one night after arriving at Keflavik International airport. Since it was an overnight flight, we were really tired and jetlagged. We were pleasantly surprised when the owner was very kind in allowing us to check in, at 7am! She also kindly offered us breakfast that morning. Rooms were very clean and comfortable! About a month after our stay,... More

There is little more I can say about this place that has not already been said! Intimate, very friendly, great service and wonderful staff. Location, out of this world, the Icelandic stay you dream of. Great for solo, family or couples. The staff genuinely do out of their way to be helpful.

We only stayed the one night. our last hotel in Iceland. It was close to the airport which is one of the reasons we chose it. Loved the colours of place. fairly modern and worth the money compared to some places we stayed. bed comfy and blinds that actually made the room dark, which was a nice change. would stay... More

Myself and my wife spent 3 nights here from 14th-17th April. The hotel is family run and everyone there was very helpful and friendly from start to finish. You may also be lucky enough to meet Thomas. He seems to spend most of his time sleeping, but was very cute. We were made to feel very welcome. We were picked... More

My wife and I spent a week in the hotel Berg and would have no hesitation in recommending them. The buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Our room and en-suite was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Hot drinks and biscuits were available all day at no extra charge and the views from the sitting room were... More

This was the 8th hotel we stayed at on a recent tour round Iceland and it was lovely. We were only here for one night and we picked it because of its location to the airport and the positive reviews, and we weren't disappointed. The rooms were very modern and everything was spotless. There were hot drinks available all the... More
