The hotel needs some help. While the rooms were clean and bed soft, the lamps were from the 80's and the television was a 13" tube (note we stayed in april of 2013). While we didn't stay for the sake of watching TV, we just found the lack of care dissappointing. The dining room was nice. Decent breakfast.

A bit of a run down version of the Icelandair hotels we'd seen. Old fashioned TV that didn't work, plastic moulded bathroom that had seen better days and none of the amenities that had been promised in their booklet. No gym on site, limited covered parking, restaurant only open in the evenings and a very small bar. The town is... More

Nice icelandair hotel close to the airport. which is very convenient if your flight leaves at 7 in the morning. Rooms where large and clean with good beds and spotless bathroom. Excellent restaurant and they serve breakfast at 5 in the morning!

This hotel is rated four stars, but I would give it at best three stars. It says there is a sauna and a gym, but in fact the sauna part is so filthy you wouldn't dare to go there and as for the gym, well it's only a stationary bike. Breakfeast was not included in our package so we had... More

That was the last of the 10 nights we spent in Iceland. We had spent 3 lovely nights in other Icelandair hotels so we were expecting the same experience here. Unfortunately we were quickly disappointed: First the "shuttle service" announced on websites is only TO the airport and not from the airport. It means it's a non sense to book... More

This is a typical hotel for overnight prior to departure from the airport. As the international airport of Reykjavik is around 50min from the town, sleeping in Keflavik is not a bad idea. However, "sleeping" is the only thing you can do there. In the surroundings there is nearly nothing to do. The only option are convenience stores, which you... More

The rooms, and hotel were very clean. No control over the heat in the room, which was uncomfortable. The two tiny single beds were not able to accommodate my feet as they dangled off the edge all night.

We stayed a single night in the hotel. We asked for a double bed but got a room with two separate beds. The walls were paper thin and you could hear the alarm clock next door go off at 5 in the morning. The bathroom was made of plastic (probably the hottest thing in the '80s). In view that a... More

We stayed here the last night of our holiday, arrived late but checked in straight away. The receptionist was a lovely lady, very friendly and helpful in every way. We wanted to book the Northern Lights tour as the skies had cleared enough for the first time during our stay, however it was too late but she went the extra... More

I arrived in to Keflavik airport at midnight and got a taxi (2,600 Icelandic krona) to the hotel. I was worried that I would be too late, but no fear, mothers was a friendly receptionist there to meet me and also the other guests I spoke to that arrive at 01:30 after hiring their car. My room was one of the... More
