Stayed for three nights late April and had 2x1 bed rooms plus the ground floor 3 bed apartment. We all used the ground floor flat as "gang hut central" as it had a bug lounge with a couple of settees, a big dining room table and big kitchen. Everything was just perfect. All neat, clean and orderly. Daily servicing was... More

We stayed in Apartment 100 in the Embassy apartments for three nights in August 2012. The location is excellent – it is on a quiet residential street but is a only a couple of minutes walk to the main shopping and dining streets of Reykjavik. Check in was smooth – I rang the buzzer and was buzzed in to the... More

The apartment is warm, cleaned daily, full of natural light, spacious and comfortable, with lovely modern furniture, and all mod cons. The bed is comfortable and the shower is great. It really is as comfortable and convenient as being at home. The owners are accessible at all times, friendly and so easy to get along with. You can tell that... More

Great location just minutes walk from the start of the main square and lots of food options, but a slight walk from the main shopping strip. Spacious, bright, clean, warm rooms decorated to give each room a homey feel. Lots of tv channels - my husband didn't appreciate being able to watch the soccer until it gone.

We stayed at the Embassy Luxury Apartments for three nights from the 26th March. Tour buses pick up and drop off directly outside. It is a short walk to the harbour and town centre. Check in was easy as others reviewers have said and as the apartment was vacant we were able to check in early straight from the airport.... More

We recently stayed in Apartment 90 for a week, which is an upstairs apartment. Check-in was easy (as has been the case for most people, just a matter of buzzing through on the door and then collecting an envelope with the room keys inside). The room was fine - pretty spacious and had all the facilities required, including a kettle,... More

Booked, but didn't get any paperwork back at the time. Contacted them to confirm "Sunday to Thursday" which they did. Arrived and all going well, but came in from an excursion on Wednesday afternoon to find our bags packed and we were being thrown out! Managed to get another hotel room tagged onto the next part of the trip but... More

This gentleman made a reservation for three nights, Sunday till Wednesday. An automatic confirmation was sent out from the booking site as always. The 2 bedroom apt. was booked by another guest on the Wednesday. The gentleman did not check out at noon and did not contact us. We waited as long as possible, called them on their mobile phone... We stayed in number 138 for 2 nights and could not have been more pleased. I expected that the apartment would be smaller than it looked in photos, but on the contrary, it has a huge living area and a very large main bedroom. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and is fine. The kitchen is small, but well... More

We arrived with transfers from the airport, and on arrival were amazed with the friendliness of the driver, and the wariness of the apartment. Then after exploring the apartment, number 70, as it was huge, we settled in very easily, as we were so close to town, we walked for most tour excursions, and for dinner and drinks in and... More

Just like others, I booked this on the strength of its tripadvisor rating and was not disappointed. We were in the Embassy Apartments, number 80. It's small and the double-bed is just that: a double. But there's plenty of cupboard storage, comfy chairs, and having all the kitchen facilities you'd ever need (microwave, dishwasher, decent-sized fridge, even a whisk) is... More
