A little to far from the town center, and maybe a bit too "business sterile". Great, lightly furnished modern room with awiew, very good breakfast and a nice lobby bar.

Booked through lastminute.com - was pleased with the rooms and breakfast. Room was nice and light. The hotel itself is more set up for business but also caters for tourists.
Bar was reasonably priced, especially during happy hour.
The hotel is a short (and not very scenic) walk to the centre of town, but it's easy to get to.

Five of us went and stayed in the Grand Hotel. Hotel was nice. Rooms spacious, but we had a little trouble with the shower. Rooms very very warm and some have no outer windows. Breakfast was good and you had plenty to choose from. Nice walk into the town. Would definately stay there again.

Started a bit mixed - got a poor room with no view as promised by Expedia but after one night got moved to the tower with view! Breakfast was great, lobby good and staff throughout very helpful. There's even an happy hour!! Only glitch is that it is a hike to the centre and the free bus service was poorly...

Spacious room up on 8th floor with excellent views. Buffet breakfast with variety of items. Good food from Bistro Bar but choice a little limited. Ate in restaurant one night and it was excellent if a little pricy. Huge lobby comfortable except after first night when a huge corporate event took over hotel and made it difficult for other guests...

We were very impressed with this hotel - the staff were happy and smiling and very pleased to help you book trips and restuarants for you and give you tips on where to go etc.
The rooms were light and airy -- there was occassionally a little bit of traffic noise but in general not too much.
Walk in shower...

Stay there for 3 nights. Rooms were very tide and clean, and with a great view of the city. Also very warm in contrast with outside temperatures. I will remember the hotel for it's really comfortable beds. 10min ride from City Centre. Breakfast was pretty good. Also bike rental upon request. Amazing living room, with very good prices on the...

The quality of the double glazed windows was poor. There was a considerable draft through the opening section of the window, and a constant howling noise when windy, which is most of the time in Iceland in February. Also the traffic noise from the dual carriageway was quite intrusive. I would recommend a room on the side of the hotel...
