We found the hotel to be clean and comfortable.Breakfast was good and the rooms were clean. The hotel location was a plus near the main attractions. The best part was the extremely accommodating man in the reception, fantastic service! The stay in Reykjavik was fantastic, amazing nature and nice and friendly people. Will definitely go there again!! More

Just returned from 4 nights in the Fosshotel Lind as part of a group from Ireland. I found the hotel central, comfortable and the lady on reception on our first night was very accommodating when trying to book tickets for a concert using an Icelandic ticket site. Some of our group ate in the hotel on our first night and... More

So the best bit about this hotel was definitely the beds. We stayed for 4 nights and I had the best nights sleep ever. It's really quiet (well it was in April) and nice and warm. The views aren't exactly stunning and the rooms are rather basic but that's all we needed. The breakfasts were fantastic - you can even... More

Was here with class. Not anything special, but the staff was helpful, and the rooms were comfortable. It is about a 10 minute walk down to downtown, close to the main streets for shopping - just need to walk a bit to get down to some of the shops, bars, restaurants. There is 1 computer to use for internet near the... More

The Foss hotel Lind is reasonably well located near the main bus terminal so is good for the walk in to town. Breakfast had a great selection to choose from as far as a continental goes, with a choice of croissant, pain au chocolate, cold meats, breads, self made waffles, toast, mini sausuages, beans, omelete. There was also a choice... More

Chain of reasonable hotels and this is a good example. There is a restaurant attached which is excellent. Two meal for 2 with wine cost us approx £60 and was probably the best roast lamb I have ever tasted. Had been unable to get in to any of the better known restaurants in Reykjavik as we had not booked and... More

Initially, we were only going to stay one night here, but we came back another two times. Out of all the hotels which offered complimentary breakfast, we thought that this hotel had the best one. Continental breakfast, plus some hot stuff (eggs, baked beans and mini sausages). On average, each of our stays cost about 72 euros. The location is... More

I can't say enough good things about Fosshotel Lind! The location is perfect, the rooms are clean, the beds are SO comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. They also arranged our hotel transfer and had sandwiches made for the trip at 0430. The real deal though is the included breakfast. They had something for everyone: make your own waffles,... More
