Bina Guest house is located close to the thermal pools in Reykjavik. The owner of the hotel is nice, but staying there will not remember well. In the room, there were no facilities, no TV and a shared bathroom with only hosts. You can not use the kitchen, which was close to my room. Allowed me only to make tea... More

I book Guesthouse Bina, Reykjavik via LateRooms.com for 24 August 2012. When we arrive to Guesthouse it was overbooked and lady owner wait for other guests for last room. She was not polite and require what we have to leave guesthouse. We just ask to write on our booking confirmation failure to settle us. Ledy denied our request. We refused... More

Stayed for four days in total, two at the beginning of our holiday and one at the end. A great base from which to see all of Reykjavik, short distance from tourist info and bus stops, great value for money compared to other guesthouses in the area and it is run by a friendly, warm and welcoming lady. Much recommended...

Given how expensive hotels in Reykjavik are, it was a relief to find this cheaper option online after much hunting, and I would 100% recommend it. Although it is about 25 minutes walk to the city centre, the walk itself, along the beautiful seafront with the mountainous backdrop, was wonderful every time, and gave a view most tourists would not... I have seen many hotels and guesthouses around the world, and this is one of my best and most personal experiences I have ever had ! You will have a warm welcome, good rooms and beds and a superb breakfast. We stayed in the appartment on the top floor of a 3 story building with view to the sea. The... More

I stayed here for four nights while visiting Reykjavik for the Iceland v Northern Ireland football match on 12 Sept 2007. I had booked my stay directly with the proprietor (Bina) who had advised me that it was a short walk from the Youth Hostel, one of the stop-off and pick-up points for the FlyBus to and from the international...
