My mother and I just stayed at Snorri's for 6 nights. We loved it here. We arrived late and called Magnus (the owner) to let us in. He was there in 2 minutes. We were greeted in a very friendly way and immediately we were at ease because we did not like the previous guesthouse we had just stayed in--up... More

I've recently returned from a one-week stay at Iceland's Snorri's with friends. We had a fantastic stay. We were often greeted and welcomed when we returned from the day's activities. The guesthoues' (i'm guessing owner) Magnus was very helpful and so friendly. We felt quite comfortable as the rooms are all cozy, clean, and the way the light shines through... More

Hi all, I am new to trip advisor but I recently used it to plan a European adventure and wanted to give some feedback on the good and bad. My wife and I stayed at Snorri's Guesthouse a little while back on our trip through exotic Iceland. Overall this part of the trip was very good despite 4 days of... More

Stayed for 3 nights. They have a 3 for the price of 2 nights offer in the winter which is excellent value. Very clean room. Excellent location, minutes from town centre (in particular Hallgrimskirkja church). Magnus, the owner has been extremely helpful. He booked some sightseeing trips for us and recommended what to see in Reykjavik. Breakfast more than sufficient;... More

I have stayed here twice, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. It is in a great location, but just off the main drag. You can't for more: a nice breakfast, comfortable rooms and friendly owners. 5 stars.

Good breakfast, clean and comfy rooms, very helpful and friendly staff, a short walk away from Reykjavik's city centre and attractions. Magnus, the manager will even book your sightseeing tours for you at no charge and he is great at recommendations on what to do, where to go. My husband and I had a really lovely stay at Snorri's!

We stayed at Snorri's on the fringe season and really loved it. The price was great, especially considering all of the warnings we'd received about costs of traveling to Iceland. Since it wasn't high season, we got our 3rd night free, which made the already-reasonable price even better. The room was nice - large enough and comfortable - and the... More

Our flight got in early and we were able to check in only an hour after arrival. Our room in the basement was huge and even had two sinks. It was only about a 10 minute walk to the bus station, and it took about the same amount of time to walk downtown. Magnus was friendly and breakfast had a... More

We stayed here just after Christmas- when Iceland was experiencing very heavy snowfall. I like being able to book direct to the guest house with Magnus- who answered plenty of my difficult questions. Magnus- also waited around the evening we arrived to make sure we made it OK (albeit a scary drive in the snow). We only booked a room-... More

A good place to stay for central Reykjavik, only ten minutes walk away. Good clean facilities, a freindly and helpful owner and excellent breakfasts. Our twin room did not have en suite facilities, the bathroom was however close by. We had a kitchenette adjacent to our room, useful for a cup of tea at will. Easy and regular transport to... More
