Me and my husband had spent a good time in Sliema and the Maltese islands. Sliema is relaxing, ideal for walking, sunbathing. The hotel has excellent location. The rooms are simple, clean, good.The service is good. We were happy with the food. Dinner was fine. The chef Ian always served us with a great attitude.

As a retired Hotel Manager I consider the Dipolmat a well run hotel with efficient staff. My room was quiet and comfortable with large bathroom, good WiFi connection. Breakfast wide choice. Spent 10 days at this hotel, and loved every minute.Extremely good weather which helped. Very good welcoming staff - nothing too much trouble. Sorry the pool wasn't open - not in season when we were there. The only down side was the infrequent buses and lack of timetables, but that not the fault of the hotel.
