My wife & i have just returned from a very disapointing week at this Hotel. My main concerns with this hotel is the high expectations i had set by Thomsons with words like 4* plus implying nearly 5 star? and platinum better than Gold? well i fell for it hook line and sinker and signed up for all the bells... Having stayed at this hotel before & loved it..i wanted to go back! Not much has changed really, we thouroughly enjoyed our stay, food & drinks are of a good quality, public areas i would say are of a 5* hotel but the rooms really let it down 3* at best! however they are closing for a refurb this winter... We stayed here for week for a friends wedding. Our room was on the front of the hotel, the views were ok but looking towards the main road and if you looked left you could see the sea, a friend paid extra to have a pool view and the views were lovely but the rooms were exactly the same, The... Let me start by telling you what I did like about this place. The best thing about the St. George Hotel is the fact that it has a very beautiful sea front garden with lovely palm trees where it is very relaxing to sit and look at the ocean. There is also a little sandy beach with access to swimming... More

We have recently returned from this hotel. It is very tired and shabby. I know it is being refurbished this year but that is no consolation to the people who have been now!! The cleanliness of the rooms is not very good I found someone else's socks behind the curtain. The bathroom is dingy and not very clean. The towels... More

To start, the room was fine, if tired (I gather they are being refurbished in the winter) and generally clean. The bathroom was very average and dingy. The rest of the hotel was nice and in a very nice setting. The younger staff were pretty good but a couple of grouchy older guys at reception let the side down. The... More

This hotel has it all. The rooms were extremely clean and the balcony views were fantastic. The staff were all very friendly always smiling and happy to talk to you. The food in the buffet restaurant has got to be the best buffet food out of all the hotels in world that i've stayed in, it was always very fresh... More

We booked hotel st george on a half board basis. When we arrived they offered us a free all inclusive upgrade and a seaview room at their sister company The George Gardens, all i can say is wow, what a fab offer and holiday, apparently they had overbooked the george. Hotel staff very efficient and polite, food and drinks fantastic,... More

This hotel is quite a way out of Paphos, but then the brochure does warn you. Bus from top of road to Pahos or Coral Bay. We hired a car from AGE Car Rental (by bus stop to Paphos) very helpful and reasonable prices. The hotel is a little shabby, but again the brpocuhre warns that a refurb is on... More
