We've stayed in many hotels across Europe and this is one of our favorites. It is so close to old Salzburg - just a short bridge walk away. Their breakfast is great! Hotel service is impressive. The Hotel Sacher Salzburg sits on the river. The views of old Salzburg are wonderful. The staff of the hotel is excellent. You cannot beat the location. The only complaint was a 3:30AM visit by a bird on our balcony! Book a room on the river side but without the balcony! More
