We stayed here as a part of a school group. Unfortunately this meant we ended up with bunk beds. Not really the most suitable for a 40 yr old married couple but not at all the fault of the hostel (if we'd asked we hopefully would have been given another room). Otherwise we really liked this place and it was... More

JUFA felt like a well-oiled machine of a hostel. Their check-in process was smooth, their beds full, the rooms many, and the details ironed out. What it lacks in character it makes up for with efficiency and value.

This Hotel really surprised me, the room was amazingly comfortable, as well as the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The location was a bit tough at first since it's quite far from main train station (50minute walk or 10minute bus ride, although i recommend the walk through the French styled palaces on your way to the hotel), but... Salzburg was our first stop-over on our Europe trip as a family of 5. I booked this hotel based on its affordability, family room availability and closeness/ accessibility by public transport. Ease of access was a big factor as we were traveling with two 3-year olds and a 5 month old and we were traveling by train and bus. The... More

We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a triple room for our first night. The room was like a hostel - nothing to fault, with a clean and great bathroom (towels included), beds, TV and places to store/hang coats. Breakfast was amazing and such a onus to be included in the price. However, the second night we were in... More

This isn't a hostel at all; it's a hotel for sure. The "common area" is really just a large hotel reception room. No character or charm to speak of, but it's clean and modern. There's a cheap cafe that's open at all hours, and the free buffet breakfast is amazing.A good place to stay in Salzburg, but don't expect anything... More

No issues at all with our booking, or at check in. The place itself is really big, and not like a hostel at all. Not a lot of character about the place. We stayed in a double room with ensuite which was actually quite comfortable, with great bathrooms. The breakfast hit the spot. Location - very close to old town... More

I would recommend this hostel for three reasons: 1. location - walking distance to old town 2. price - very cheap! 3. breakfast - amazing Me and my friend got upgraded from dorm to double bed room with our own bathroom due to overbooking so we only payed 19 euro/person, which was great! Reason to why it did not get... More

I booked at the end of July a double room for one night in Hostel JUFA in Salzburg via booking.com. The second day the after my booking, the money were taken out of the account, although the cancellation was free of charge. Unfortunately, because i was travelling, i saw the transaction after several days. In the meantime, I cancelled the... More
