A great location for exploring downtown Vienna.
Really nicely appointed rooms, comfortable beds.
Had a regular room, it was fine.
Wish I had more wursts and schnitzels...and beer of course.

Stayed here here for 3 nights and it was intended as a luxurious treat to finish off 10 days of travel.
Definitely a very comfortable hotel. Compared to the historically rich hotels nearby such as Bristol, Grand and Imperial, the Ring was more casual and less formal. But one shld definitely visit nearby hotels to see the difference.
I would...

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting Vienna on business. Lovely hotel. The rooms are well appointed and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is in the ideal location very close to the Opera and central Vienna. The staff could not do more for us. A perfect alternative to the usual identikit chain hotels. I may have stayed here...

I stayed at this stylish place for my 30th birthday and the friendly staff showered me with sweet surprises: a birthday desert after lunch, upgrade to the most amazing suite ever, a bottle of high-quality sparkling wine and a birthday card in our room! It was overwhelming and made my birthday really special! An unforgettable surprise!

Just returned from 3 nights at The Ring. I would agree with other reviewers that the location is great, but I felt that instead of "Casual Luxury" it was more "little effort, lots of money". Although one expects to pay more for hotel drinks, meals and services I felt that this place was definitely over the top. Examples would be:...

What a wonderful hotel!
We booked this hotel through Hotels.com and got a wonderful rate for the X-Ordinary Room (2 nights). Upon arriving from our very long flight from Toronto, the front desk greeted us with a warm smile and a room that was ready very early in the day - we checked in at 11:00 am. We had help...
