on arrival staff were unfriendly... No conversation and no smiles! Rooms were ok but in need of repainting . Although price is good, we would rather pay a bit extra in order to get a less gloomy experience. Stayed there 11th. April and was satisfied by welcome, high standard of cleanliness and service given. Not as good as the Ritz which so many people seem to expect for £30 a night.
