Wonderful sea view rooms 311 and 312 hotel situated opposite the band stand good central position. Spacious rooms, comfortable large beds, bathroom small but adequate. Room became very hot when the sun was out windows only opened a small amount. Fan was provided which would definitely be needed during the summer. Good choice at breakfast helpful staff. Convenient covered parking... More

I have just come back form a weekend away with my wife in Eastbourne staying at the Cavendish Hotel. My first observation would be that they could do with some signage on the road to point the way to the hotel car park with is accessed though a very narrow archway situated between two houses at the back of the... Friendly professional staff, classy and elegant, very reasonable. My room was a little hot, I mentioned this to the very accommodating receptionists who had it looked into imediately, unable to fix the problem, they moved me to another room. Fantastic stay definitely be returning. More

My wife and I returned to the Cavendish for the May Bank Holiday and weren't disappointed. Unlike last time we didn't book a sea view but still had a wonderful view from our 4th floor room. The room was spacious, clean, warm, cosy and with great facilities, and the staff were all excellent. Breakfast wasn't the very best I have... More

Stayed for the May bank holiday weekend and we both agreed that the hotel was superb. Excellent value for money, clean, spacious and the sea view room on the second floor was enormous. We dined in the restaurant where the food and wine were both excellent and good value but best of all was the service from the staff. Everybody... More

We had a pleasant 3 night stay in early April. It's a great location on the seafront. The food was very good with a generous breakfast. Nice spacious dining room and good service. Our bedroom was on the 3rd floor overlooking the sea....a large room with genrous tea and coffee and good quality toiletries. As the room is southfacing it... More

A lovely, typically English seaside resort hotel, big and bold and seasidey. Lovely sea views to the front of the hotel - unfortunately I was roomed at the back but it was a late booking. My room was a decent size if a little tired but still comfortable with a nice big airy bathroom. There were tea and coffeee making... More

I can only re-iterate with previous reviews, great UK seaside hotel – can’t fault it. Reception/bar/library/dining room – great, clean and well furnished, room’s fine – we had a side sea view and it was large – décor not as modern as the hotel entrance but still comfortable and acceptable. Big let down was the old style TV. Staff –... More

Decent hotel, in the evening you can really see the appeal of this hotel, everything is clean and decor is modern, along with those timely old-english touches. We found this hotel to be adequate, since its the 2nd most popular hotel in Eastbourne, second only to The Grand Hotel, which was out of our price range. The Canvendish's website, advertised... More
