“Stay was ok, but don't eat there!”

The rooms are of average size and quality, but not nearly worth the $160 price tag. The room was clean and comfortable though, and the staff were friendly. As for the restaurant, don't even bother. They are trying to give a gourmet experience,and have a good wine list. However, the wait staff is clueless about drink selections and food available.... More

“Excellent place to stay”

Nice place in a quiet part of town. Riverside location is lovely. Rooms are a bit old fashioned but clean with a proper bathroom. Staff is very helpful and friendly, especially in the restaurant. Meals (both diner and breakfast) were above average. Recommended More

We ran a business networking event at the Barns on 14th May 2012 and have to say the staff and venue were amazing. I will definitely be coming back for another event with them later in the year. Superb service and lovely atmosphere! More

“Outstanding service”

I stayed at the Barns hotel just after Easter for a weekend break with my husband . From the first telephone call to the final goodbye we couldn't have received better service. The staff were helpful for example they organised leisure passes for us and our dinner guests. They were friendly,well trained but never intrusive. We ate a fantastic relaxed... More

The hotel was lovely. Beautiful grounds, shame the weather wasn't better! Fair size room and all the usual stuuf. Only let down was the restaurant service.
