Unique experience! This hotel/guest house has a theatrical theme throughout. Antique furniture, theatre posters going back years & each room named after a theatre. We went to see an Aykebourne play Saturday evening & they provided an excellent pre-theatre early bird dinner. Massive breakfasts keep you going all day. Great place run by two great guys. We'll be back! DavenDeb71

We went for an extended weekend over the bank holiday. Scarborough was packed, but the hotel just 5 minutes from the promenade was a lovely peaceful sanctuary. Our room was spacious, well equipped and nicely decorated and worth the climb to the top for its views across the harbour. Breakfast was fresh and individually cooked. Above all the hosts Ian... Ive stayed at Interludes many times and love the hotel and food, Bob & Ian are perfect hosts, unfortunately being self employed I can only take time off when work permits and really wanted to have a few days stay in this haven. Unfortunately its fully booked, unsurprising when you have a fantastic establishment, I will have to wait until... More

Phoned to book my room and was told that they would have to phone me back as they were busy, no problem. They did phone back that evening and took all the details, and asked what time we would be arriving and so all systems go. On arrival at the hotel at the arranged time, we were greeted rather abruptly... More

The house is completely charming. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was always delicious. The rooms were lovely and afforded us a terrific view. Scarborough is an old city with narrow streets, but parking is manageable. Highly recommend this place and hope to be back one day. Thanks Ian and Bob-we had a great time! Leland and... More

Stayed here for three nights whilst working in Scarborough. Ideally located for everything and with lovely hosts. It was warm, clean and very comfortable. What more could you want. Will be rebooking for my next visit to sunny scarborough!

Having stayed in numerous hotels and b&b's in Scarborough over the years, with very varying results, my wife, myself and two friends spent an very relaxing and enjoyable night at Interludes. The rooms are comfortable and interestingly decorated, with a theatrical theme, the price is sensible in terms of Scarborough, the owners are friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts are... More

The Interludes Hotel is a top class guest house hotel with brilliant, friendly and knowledgeable proprietors. They share their love of theatre willingly. They will be only too glad to book theatre, dinner and taxis for you. We visit Interludes quite frequently and encounter other returning guests. Each room is comfortable, well decorated and theatre themed. We prefer Festival as... More
