Found The Raincliffe Hotel just by chance after arriving in Scarborough for the first time. We had a beautiful room on the 1st floor overlooking the garden at the rear. A very comfortable bed, excellent state of decoration we couldn't fault the room if we'd tried. Our hosts Mal And Katherine were great, very helpful and informative; did everything they... More

Fab B&B in a very good location. Very close to beach, shops, all touristy things really. Cannot fault anything with accommodation. Clean and tidy rooms, very friendly staff and probably the biggest cooked breakfast I've ever seen! Very good value for money, but have been told to book direct next time, not through a web booking agent.

Can't fault the staff/owner for the welcome & attention. Very clean room with new bathroom suite etc. plenty of space in the family room (there were just 2 of us). Breakfast was plentiful & delicious. A great base for anyone wanting to stay near the centre but in a quiet location.

We have just returned from another relaxing stay at this fab hotel. Book direct through the hotel not through the internet as they take an additional 25% off the owners and we should support small businesses in these tough times. We don't go for anything that Scarborough has to offer but go for the relaxing break in a beautiful hotel... More

Upon arrival Decor was a little tired and scruffy looking, the gentlemen that met us wasn't actually at the front of the queue when manners were being given out. Our room was quite nice although noticed a few crumbs under bed and creased sheets, the windows also to... More
