We have just spent 4 days at this location, Kenella House Minehead. Our second visit, and it was as last time a very good experience. We could find nothing to fault. Sandie & Steve are excellant hosts, and nothing asked for is too much trouble for them to provide. The location is good, within walking distance of town & seafront, 2... More

After searching for a hour around 9pm for somewhere to stay everywhere was full, we tried kenella house. The lady was very kind and polite we stayed for 2 nights, having checked in fairly late we liked the idea of no times to be in or out. The room was immaculate and the bed was so comfy. Little teddy bear... More

What can I say about this wonderful Bed and Breakfast. This is the sixth year myself and my parents have opted to stay at Kenella House for our family weekend away in Minehead. We can highly recommend the establishment. The rooms are very well appointed and scrupulously clean, I would challenge anyone to find fault with the accommodation. The thought... More

We really enjoyed staying here - we were well-looked-after, and the position, near the sea, the railway and the town, is ideal.

I can recommend a stay at Kenella House. I stayed three nights whilst I attended the railway's Spring Gala and could not fault the accommodation. The room was well appointed and scupulously clean. Complimentary toiletries, tea, coffee and hot chocolate were provided. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was superb. After the usual offer of fruit juices, grapefruit, prunes etc.,... Arriving in Minehead without a booking on a Sunday evening the week before Christmas, we were on the verge of giving up finding anyway to stay when we chanced upon Kenella House. Even though there were no other occupants we were welcomed into a warm prepared room. The room was spacious and charming, with period fireplace and a really comfortable... More

We enjoyed our one night stay. We spent little time in the B&B as we were visiting family only a block away. This made it very convenient for us. When we asked for an extra seating at breakfast, the owners were most accommodating. Our bedroom was on the ground floor. A little crowded ( a little too much furniture) but... More

With no previous knowledge of this place we were delighted to enjoy 5 days accommodation here. Everything was excellant, we could fault nothing. 20 out of 10 brownie points - a teapot & teabag container, 2 comfortable chairs, sweets, not had any of these before even in larger establishments. Will definitely be going again.

My mother and I really enjoyed our stay here. Generous size rooms, lovely and clean. very nice welcoming hosts. Little touches such as little packets of biscuits on the hospitality trays along with a good selection of not only tea & coffee but also hot chocolate and horlicks. And good quality toiletries in bathrooms go a long way to make... More
