Stayed two nights at the Hilton at Dunkeld and could not have been more impressed with the magnificent grounds. Set on the beautiful river, it is a fantastic place for families with activities including quad biking, archery, clay pigeon shooting. One could spend hours cycling around the grounds. The food was excellent as was the service. Highly recommended.

Hotel was generally nice, but it just needs a lick of paint in the corridors as things are a bit run down.
The room itself was well appointed and the food at dinner and especially at breakfast was excellent.

After roaming around the hotel after check-in we can see why Hilton acquired this property. Lovely grounds, with a dendrologists treasure trove of many different trees, the River Tay for fishing, and other various actitivites to do. It is a nice walk into Dunkeld and one should take the river walk and stop at the Dunkeld kirk.

We are just back from a three night stay at this hotel. We were there in February and due to bad service, food poisoning, cramped accomodation and a shower that was out of commission, were were given a three night stay free gratis, after I must say my determination to not be ignoreed and insisting on some sort of compensation....
