Contact the hotel to see what rooms are available before you ring central reservations. If you are happy with what they have, then make the booking with central reservations and then ring the hotel back for room allocation. Travelodge do not have wardrobes. comfy couches etc. but this is reflected in the price. We have just spent three nights at... More

The reception staff where friendly and “on the ball”, the bar/café had all it should, plus good service. The room was clean and tidy, only criticism was that the window did open which made the room a bit stuffy; the room was basic but we did not spend very long in it as it was only a base for us.... The mattress in the room was like a trampoline or waterbed. For this reason the hotel is rated poor. The defining feature of a hotel is sleep quality and this hotel room didnt have any. I can accept the fact that the room is small and that we had a car park view. Neither of those were an issue. The... More

Arrive early if you want to get on the very small car park. Upon entering the room my eyes immediately were drawn the the sea view through the big bay window. However, I then noticed how dirty the window was, both inside & out. In the room there was no comfy chair to sit and relax, just a 60's style... More

Paid a rock-bottom price for the recent May bank holiday weekend. The hotel staff were extremely friendly. I have stayed in many Travelodges and staff at Worthing were the most polite and helpful I have ever encountered. We had a family room which was extremely large. It was larger than a junior suite at a 4* hotel. As minimalist travellers,... More

Peeling paint on the facade, rusty handrail, broken and missing tiles on the front steps and glass doors that were difficult to see through due to a build-up of dirt gave me my first impression of the place. Entering I found a 'hotel' that would benefit from a refurbishment and a change of staff. One of the two very small,... More

The Worthing Travelodge has an excellent location on the seafront. Our room had a great view out to sea. We had a "disabled" room which was large but very sparsely furnished. It had a desk but no wardrobe or storage space of any kind. The bathroom too had no surfaces to store toiletries. The bed was comfortable and we would... More

Well where to start, first dont turn up too early as parking with cost you around £8 for a few hours parked on the seafront as the "limited" parking is virtually non existant! on arrival we had booked a family room and when we eventually got to the room ( out the back with the worst possible view) we found... Stayed for 2 nights in April which were booked on the Travelodge sale and we only paid £15 a night which was excellent value. The view from the room could not be better overlooking the sea.The staff were very efficient and friendly and booking in was a breeze. The car park is very small but we had no problem parking, yes... I cycled a London to Brighton event and wanted to take my family to see me in, and stay over for the weekend. I was knocked over by the prices of the hotels in Brighton and chose Worthing as a next-best option. On reflection I was quite grateful as Brighton seemed full of stag and hen parties. It would not... More
