I have used this hotel for a number of years and despite (as other reviewers have commented) tired bathrooms have always found it comfortable, the owners pleasant and helpful and the cooked to order breakfast second to none. I was here for a weekend. No real complaints about it - bathroom v. good, my single had a double bed in, more than enough storage etc. It was a bit bland - so fine if you were there on business or for a short stay but you'd want more if staying longer, and more facilities. More

As mentioned, bathrooms are looking a bit worn and could do with a makeover, but the owner is friendly and knowlegeable, good location, good price for an independent hotel. Has wired, free internet, they ought to mention this. Excellent breakfasts cooked to order. More
