We stayed locally over the weekend & used the facilities at the Dalmeny for swimming. We really enjoyed it. The staff provided us with a day pass for £10 which included use of jacuzzi, sauna, steam room & swimming pool. The whole swimming area & changing rooms are spotless. Plenty of lockers are available & changing rooms. The showers are... More

Thank you for taking the time to record your comments. I note that you were able to avail yourself of our leisure facilities during your stay locally. We do always try to comply with such requests, although this is not always possible, depending on the hotel occupancy. However, on this occasion we were able to offer this facility, and I... More

Arrived Friday, polite and helpful welcome. Room was basic byt clean. Bed was a bit hard for mem butbthat is down to personal taste. I had to turn off the radiator and open the window as the room was too hot, like most hotel rooms.

My partner, 2 yr old daughter and I stayed at the Dalmeny for 3 nights - we had a large room overlooking the sea front with our own patio on the ground floor - the room was clean and tidy. The decor in the room was rather dated and could do with a refurbishment. The staff were friendly and helpful.... More

Thank you for your very positive comments. We do pride ourselves on the range of children's facilities available at the Dalmeny, and families do tend to return on a very regular basis. I do note your comments regarding the dated decor in the room, but you will no doubt be delighted to hear that we have now embarked on a... More

I was here for one night only. This is probably the tenth time I have stayed here and I always feel welcome from the moment we arrive in reception. I had a good size room with a balcony overlooking the sea front. It had a large bathroom containing a walk in shower and there was a separate toilet room which... More

Thank you for taking the time to post a review of your recent stay at the Dalmeny, I'm delighted to hear that, overall, you enjoyed the experience. I note your comments regarding the canned guinness. Unfortunately we are not able to achieve the volume of sales to warrant installing draught guinness, and it was felt that this method was an... More

Looks fairly grand from the outside and the reception area is modern including the attrium restaurant area, however as you walk deeper into the hotel it is apparent not only is the hotel a tardis and a real mixture of decor, but more concerningly some parts of the hotel are in desperate need of a refit. I had two rooms... More

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments following your recent stay at The Dalmeny Hotel. I note that you were firstly shown to a sea view room, which unfortunately had a broken toilet, and you were then moved to an alternative room, which you felt was not up to the standard you expected. Thank you for taking the time toreview your recent stay with us I was extremely concerned to learn of your overall disappointment with the room allocated on this occasion. Great hotel fun night away. This hotel has entertainment on for the kids and even though the weather wasn't great they had plenty to do.
