This is my hotel of choice when travelling in and around the Shetland Islands. The rooms aren't especially spacious, but they are practical and very comfortable. Food is always of a high standard, the staff are friendly and very pleasant. The hotel has more than adequate parking. More

The dismay starts when you walk into the lobby and inhale a musty, unclean smell. This odour is not exclusive to the lobby area, mind - if anything it grows more pungent once inside the hotel room.
