I 've just spent 3 days at this hotel and found it very accomodating.Friendly staff and excellent food. Nothing too much trouble. The room was spacious and clean. Good dancing floor and spacious for about 40 people.

The Royal hotel is good for a few reasons, Charles Dickens stayed there, comfy beds, quiet, good seaview.
But there's quite a few bad things, thins blankets, old interior, only 4 channels on the tv, messy garden, creepy staff.
