our room was very nice and clean although a little dated.the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.breakfast was self service and included lots of choice .this was our second visit and we will be returning.

Friendly and helpful staff which surprised me. Otherwise the room and hotel looking tired ... Clean room though it smelt stale when I walked in. Breakfast? Cooked breakfast included tinned tomatoes (why?) which was disappointing. Price was ok, but next time I'd pay more to be somewhere less tired.

Stayed here for two nights for a Naval Reunion for about 80 members and was given a single room on the first floor. We have stayed here a number of times, the staff are helpful and friendly and the hotel is family friendly, even making smaller portions of the main meals for children who want some thing other than the normal kids menu. My youngest wanted curry and rice and she loved every mouthful. We are looking forward to our next short break
