We had a warm welcome from the host and shown to our room. The room was dated, small and dark. The bed was uncomfortable. The room was in great need of a dust and hoover. The lounges downstairs looked nice, with a Deer head on the wall. This kind of decor is ok for cosy lounges, but the bedrooms need... More

This small hotel run by a lovely Scottish couple is a terrific find. Our room was very comfortable, the hotel was well placed in Grantown and the food was absolutely wonderful. It being rather out of season the restaurant was open at dinner for guests only on request. Our second night we asked if we might have dinner in the... More

Stayed there twice and we were delighted every time. Nive rooms, outstanding eating (ask for the whisky sauce!) and a well equipped (whisky) bar. More

This establishment is run more on the lines of a 'licensed guest house' than a hotel. If you are looking for room service or a bustling bar and restaurant this is not for you. However if you like a homely atmosphere you will love it here. Bedrooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. Loved the high quality soft and fluffy... More

We were made very welcome, the bedroom (No1) was spacious with 2 easy chair, TV, tea & coffee making facilities & lovely biscuits. The bed was the huge bigger than a king size & very comfortable. The restaurant wasn't open whilst we were there but we found enough places to eat only a short walk away. The hotel served alcohol... More

We booked last minute and got the family room which is ideal as the twin bedded kids room was off the kingsize main room. Beds were very comfortable and cosy and the rooms were tastefully decorated. When we arrived the host ws very welcoming but immediately stated that there was a problem and the heating had broken down. If we... More

The Ravenscourt House Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are spacious, exceptionally clean and the bed very comfortable. We found the owners to be friendly and attentive to our needs. The hotel has two reception rooms which are both very invited after a busy day out and about. The breakfast was superb. The hotel was an excellent... More
